
Bargara Remembers held its annual general meeting (AGM) on 12 November 2025, bringing together members and supporters to reflect on a successful year and look ahead to new opportunities. The meeting was marked by a strong sense of camaraderie, appreciation, and community pride.
As part of the AGM process, all existing committee members formally resigned before nominations were presented for the year ahead. Motions were moved and seconded by attending members, ensuring transparency and community involvement.
The incoming committee was confirmed as follows:
- President: Bernie Strohfeldt (reappointed)
- Secretary: Annie McGrath (reappointed)
- Treasurer: Mark Osborn (reappointed)
They will be joined by a mix of returning and newly elected committee members, several of whom bring extensive experience and, in some cases, distinguished military careers. Their skills, service history, and commitment to the region will continue to strengthen the mission of Bargara Remembers.
Outgoing committee members were warmly thanked for their dedication and lasting contributions, which have helped shape a strong foundation for the year ahead.
The meeting closed on a positive note, with members expressing confidence in the direction of Bargara Remembers and excitement for the initiatives planned for 2026.
